Perched on the northern tip of the picturesque island of Fuerteventura, approx 25min from Corralejo (20km west), this fabulous holiday resort is a perfect destination for all those looking for memorable and fun-filled family holiday.
This highly rated Holiday Village offers studios and villa suites with a ground-floor terrace and garden. They are divided into several "oasis" areas, each with its own pool and paddling pool. So there is an option for ages!
The Craterpark is a 5,000 m² water park, featuring 1,000 m² of water areas. The volcano theme makes it a unique place featuring a wave pool, climbing pool, water slides, a water tree and a paddling pool. Another pool, which is heated year round, lets the grown-ups enjoy a Zen atmosphere.
Fuerteventura Origo Mare offers more than forty activities: water sports and adventure sports in the surrounding area, courses, daytime and evening entertainment, and more.
2 restaurants, 2 snack bars and 1 bar mean you can enjoy your food at any time of day.
Mini Club (age 4 to 5 years) and Planet Kids Club (age 6 to 12 years) offer daily activities for children and there is also a Teenager Club and dedicated area on offer.(age 13 to 17 years).
Daytime and evening activities: fitness, aquagym, tournaments, archery, walks, Zumba, shows, games, sports tournaments, disco evenings, regional culture evenings, show cooking, etc.
There is plenty on offer in this fabulous holiday village including bike hire to explore the immediate area. From June to September the property also runs a free shuttle bus service (twice daily) to Corralejo resort and beach. Car hire is recommended should you wish to explore more of the island, but the nearest beach is only 20 min walk away.
Fuerteventura's main resort, Corralejo is a thriving town with plenty of tourist attractions and hotels, yet it happily manages to retain a lovely community feel. As with many Spanish resorts, Corralejo was born of fishing village parentage and its provenance means that the local feel in the town is maintained side by side with infrastructure for the visitor, so is a lovely introduction to Fuerteventura holidays.
The old part of Corralejo is located around the harbour area and the locals still fish from the pier walls and congregate for swimming competitions to nearby Isla de Lobos! Plenty of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants in the resort cater to tourist needs and the more modern marina offers pleasure cruises to nearby Lanzarote. Day trips to Isla de Lobos are also possible (not everybody swims!)
The town is virtually encircled by sand dunes and an expanse of sandy shore and extensive stretch of beach is renowned for windsurfing and kite boarding. In general, Corralejo is a friendly and very casual resort which is less commercialised than is the norm with some mainland destinations. However, there is no shortage of lively bars, the odd Irish pub, local style restaurants and international eateries, so the choices are certainly not limited for your Fuerteventura holiday.
Situated at the northern end of the island, Corralejo is located just about 30 minutes drive from Fuerteventura airport, so easy and speedy access is guaranteed. ClickandGo offers a good range of accommodation options in the area.
