Located beside Turkey's Blue Lagoon, Oludeniz is a picture perfect sun holiday destination. Unlike Fethiye or Marmaris, Oludeniz is the place to go to completely unwind.
Nestled between the mountains, with a wide stretch of beach facing the sea and the Blue Lagoon tucked to the side, the surroundings instantly give you a sense of calm. The beach resort of Oludeniz has a long main street running through it, filled with shops, restaurants and bars, meeting the sea at the promenade.
If you want a break from the beach for some adventure, then why not try the very popular activity of paragliding from the nearby Mt. Babadağ. It's a beautiful way to take in the rugged Turkish landscape of mountains, forests and, of course, the Blue Lagoon.
Less than 3km and a short dolmus ride away is the main town of Hisaronu. While Oludeniz is the place to be during the day to soak up the sun and unwind, Hisaronu is where the place to go for a livelier atmosphere. It has bars and restaurants catering to the tourist market, but still retains that friendly and welcoming spirit that is typical of Turkey.
